About this product
This listing is for two Allied Prelude junior golf clubs: a 3-iron (31 inches) and a 7-iron (29 inches), both right-handed. The clubs feature stainless steel heads, steel shafts, and stiff flex. The 3-iron has a 21° loft and 2° bounce. They come with Golf Pride grips. Priced at $30.00, these are budget-friendly options for young golfers needing specific clubs, possibly as replacements or for practice.
Our take
I needed a couple of irons for my junior golfer to practice with, and these Allied Prelude clubs fit the bill. The 3-iron and 7-iron offer different lengths and lofts, good for learning shot variety. The stiff flex steel shafts might be a bit heavy for very young kids, but for stronger juniors it provides stability. The Golf Pride grips are a nice touch. At $30 for two clubs, it's a bargain. However, the 31-inch 3-iron is quite long for some juniors, and the stiff flex could hinder developing swing speed. Decent for practice, but not a complete set.
